Work one-on-one with me to learn the craft of writing. We will discuss word choice, grammar, and sentence structure using your current writing projects.

On-site grant writing workshops

These programs provide intensive, interactive learning experiences for 10 to 30 attendees. Each session is 1 hour and provides examples to reinforce key concepts in grant writing. Topics include:

• Beyond the words: document design for grant writers

• 2 minutes to funding success—write an award-winning specific aims page

• How to be significant and innovative in less than one page—and still get funded!

• Effective storytelling techniques to keep your reviewers reading

• Completing the story: using supporting documentation to your advantage

 

Intensive training session

This 6-week session combines the benefits of a personal writing coach with the grant writing workshops. Attendees will transform their rough draft of their grant proposal into a reviewer-ready submission for the NIH.
